Kenzington's 1st Birthday

Kenzi's birthday was so much fun.  She took a super long nap this morning getting ready for her party.  Kenzi was happy the entire time and loved having everyone around.  She was spoiled and got many fun toys and cute new clothes.
Thanks to everyone who came and those that wished Kenz Happy Birthday!

Kenz! How old are you?

Feeding her baby a bottle

Devrey made this cute little dress:)
I just love it!

This little cutie came all the way from Provo for the party.  Thanks for coming Dustin, Amy and Luke

Logan had to sneak out into the kitchen and finish off the pop.

Too much partying for Grandpa:)

Kenzi turns 1!

Can't believe my Baby Girl is one!  This past year has gone by so fast.  Kenzi is so sweet.  She is a Momma's girl which is good and bad.  She is just plain WILD.  The girl is always moving.  She loves to get into things and tease Logan.  She loves to eat and gets way too excited when she sees candy or anything in a brightly colored package.
Kenz walked at 10 months and is now running.  She says momma and dada, claps and when you ask her how old she is she holds up her little finger:)
Kenzi still hates her carseat and potatoes.
She is already a drama queen and cries very easily, especially if she gets her feelings hurt.
Kenzi loves to dance with Logan and loves to suck on rocks outside.

She has a crazy little cheesy smile that I just love.  She still loves to be held which I need to enjoy more often because soon she will be too cool for mom:(
Stats:
Weight: 21 lb
Height: 30"

Happy Birthday Kenzington !!
We love you and are so thankful you are in our family, I am so lucky to be your mom!

Grandma's Funeral

Today was my sweet Grandma's funeral.  It was beautiful and a good day to remember her, her wonderful long life and what a great person she was.  There was a lot of reminiscing about all the fun things about her.

I will always remember how proud she was of all of her kids and grand-kids and she let us know it.  She was very generous and loved everyone's company.  She was always giving us silver dollars, $2 bills or Susan B. Anthony coins to put in our collections from her.   She always had her little disposable camera with her to capture all the fun during family get togethers or when people came to visit her.  She always had many printed pictures all over her house.

She made the best guacamole!  She loved the Schwan's man:)

She loved to crochet and crocheted many baby blankets and booties for humanitarian projects.

She was just wonderful, but now is at so much peace.  Miss and love you Grandma!

Grandma crocheted these little booties for me to use with my kids many years ago.  Kenzi wore them to her funeral today:)
