My Babies

These are my beautiful babies

Kenzington: is so so sweet. She melts our hearts. She is already so big and so independent. She likes to be set down to put herself to sleep, with her thumb in her mouth of course. It looks like she may have red hair and blue eyes, but we will have to see! She smiles all the time especially in the morning after a good nights rest.

Logan: is hilarious. It has almost been 4 weeks since he had his ear tubes placed and his tonsils and adenoids out..... I cannot believe the difference for the better with our little guy. Before his surgery he really didn't talk much and was a picky eater. These concerns are what drove me to take him to the ENT. They said that surgery would definitely help these issues. To be honest Brett and I were not convinced and were very nervous about his surgery, but I am so glad we went through with it. Logan now talks up a storm and eats A TON! I love it! He loves to say gas station every time he sees one while we are out and about. He loves to tease about wanting to get the toilet paper or asking for chocolate. He seems so much happier and a lot less frustrated now that we are able to communicate better. It has been a real blessing, hopefully things will get even better and Logan can catch up verbally with those his age:)
The funniest thing Logan just started saying is "dooped." As in, he points to his diaper and says "Mom, I dooped in there" Ha! He is close to being potty trained, I haven't pushed it really hard, but he will go potty on the toilet a few times a week, if not at least once a day. I know as he gets a little older things will click more and he will be fully potty trained. Ah... until that time, I spend my days changing diapers:)

Martin Harris Pageant

Yesterday we went to the Martin Harris Pageant in Clarkston, Utah with my parents, my sister Shannon and her two kids. My parents saw it a few weeks ago and loved it so I decided we should head to good old Clarkston!

Road Trip!

We had never been to Logan before so we stopped there to check out the Temple, Utah State and do a little shopping. We really liked it there, its a great town.

Us in front of the Martin Harris monument

The valley was beautiful!

The kids were able to dress up and Kirra was able to have her hair done in rags.

The whole gang!!!

I was a little nervous about how Kenzi and Logan would do during the pageant since it didn't start until 8:30 pm! But...they did great:) Kenzi did not want to sleep so just sat on my lap and watched the entire performance. Logan was a little restless, but loved clapping at the end of each scene and dancing to the music.

I did not really like the Family Pics we did just a few weeks ago....so I did some more. It was super bright in the grain field, but I like these better than the others:)

3 months!

Kenzington is already 3 months old. She is such a happy healthy good baby. She sleeps through the night, and has for the last month :) Doesn't do very well with naps during the day because there is just too much going on with Logan around:) She loves music and eating. We are just in love with our little Kenzi!

We visited my Grandma in her new little house at Lincoln Court retirement facility. She recently moved there after a bad fall, check out her stylish pink cast:) She misses her house but knows she needs to be in a facility where they can help her if she needs it. She is so sweet we just love her! She is 94 1/2 years old and sharp as a tack!
