Spud Day and my 26th Birthday!

Spud Day started off great this year! I was able to get up way too early and run a 5k with my sister Tiffany, brother Mikel and sister-in-law Christy. It was a ton of fun and a good way to start out a fun day. We all did really well and will definitely do it again next year. My parents where all along the run route and at the finish line taking pictures and cheering us on!

After the run, I went home had breakfast with Seth, April, Brett and Logan and then we headed to the parade. It was good as usual and Logan got a bunch of candy:)

Dad and Logan, I am not sure who is more excited, Brett or Logan?? HAHA!

After the parade we headed to the park for a free baked potato, I haven't had one in years so we decided Logan needed a potato, his favorite thing to eat.

After walking around Spud Day we relaxed a bit before we had a little bbq for my Birthday! It was great to see everyone on Spud Day/ My Birthday. It was a good day all together. Can't believe I am 26....I am on the down hill slop to 30, that is a little scary!

Miss Russet

(I look like crap in this picture, but it is the only one!)
I was able to be a host for Miss Russet this year. Although I was a little hesitant it was all with it and fun in the end. I didn't get very many pictures because seriously it was the CRAZIEST night! My girl was Marci Haney and she has thick, VERY LONG, dark hair, it took two hours before the pageant to curl it! For her opening number we put it all curly in a side pony, then for physical fitness we put it up in a high pony, then for her talent (singing) she had it all down and then all up for the end. It was so crazy because there was not very much time in between performances to get everything done, but we somehow made it. Oh, to top it all off I had to do her makeup!! AHHH I have no idea how to do makeup let alone stage makeup! Anyway, in the end Marci did great, she got 3rd runner up and Miss Congeniality! WOO HOO! Way to go Marci!

Here is all of Marci's hair up for the end, we did this in like 15 minutes! It was crazy, so glad it all worked out. Funny thing, all of the contestants had makeup artists, beauticians and then their hostess helping them with everything else. Well, it was just me and Marci! In the end the beautician that was doing the girls hair next to us said "so do you have a salon out of your house?" I almost died! (why? my friends out there that know I love the movie Drop Dead Gorgeous will understand why her asking me that was so funny) hahahahah! I started laughing, but it made me feel better because the whole night I had no idea what I was doing, but no one else knew that!! HA!

Indian Spring Camping Trip

We went for a quick over night camping trip with Grandma and Grandpa Hanson to Indian Springs by American Falls. It was a lot of fun and Logan loved every minute of it! He ate all the cookies and licorice he could and hung out in his diaper! He swam with the fish and crawdads (even if he was not suppose too) and in the hot pool! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Hanson:)

Notice the sign in the background. We were looking at the ponds and Logan could not stand just looking and needed to get in!
