I can't believe it is already the end of July, time is just flying. It's sad that these warm, long summer days are going to be gone soon.
The kids love playing in our little back yard area, even though they have trouble staying out of our neighbors stuff:/
Logan "drives his truck to Walmart and Target" a lot and comes back with some pretty cool things:)
Today he was going to work.
The other side of the fence was "work." I asked him what he did at work and he said "just doing papers" :)
Next door is a cute little family with two young kids. Logan loves Mitch who is 2 1/2, they play pretty well together, the only problem is Mitch is moving next month:( Also, Logan sometimes says his 'M's as 'B's......so you can put together what he calls his new friend;)
Logan is getting so big. I signed him up for preschool the other day....ahhh. Can't believe we are already to this point in his little life. He also starts Swimming Lessons at the Ammon pool on Monday.
Logan's love of trains as slightly subsided, but he still loves the train in nursery. Thank heavens our new ward had a train:)
This little lady decided the other day to start talking. I can't believe how fast she is picking up words. She says: Water (otter), doggie, mom, dad, cat, eyes, owie, uh-oh and hi. She is hilarious and keeps us laughing. Kenzi LOVES shoes. She squeals when she sees them. Whatever pair she is wearing needs to be changed if she sees a different options, pretty funny.
She definitely gets into mischief with Logan's help.
Just an example of their mischief, last night I ran up stairs to put a few things away, Brett was in the front room and the kids headed out back. It had only been a few minutes but they had managed to get the fire rocks from our neighbors fire pit. (see picture of Kenzi below, she was headed back for more fun). They had brought those rocks over and were playing with them. Logan and Kenzi were covered in black ash, it was awful. I was not a happy momma, so much so that we went straight up to the bath and then relaxed on the cough then off to bed. Too much crazy for one day:)
We are adjusting to life in our new place, we have been here just over a month now. We have to speak in Church on Sunday! We like being in Idaho Falls and close to everything. Brett starts school for the last time in one month, can't wait to be done!
Well we better soak up these last few weeks of summer until the craziness of Fall begins!
