So long sweet Summer..

 Can't believe summer is coming to a close:(  Brett starts school one last time this Tuesday.

We did a ton of fun stuff this summer, but it seems like we have been cramming in any last little things we can. 

We walked around the river and played in the sand.  The kids and I headed to Rexburg Rapids again to meet some friends.  It was kind of crappy weather but we had fun, well until Logan somehow couldn't find me and lost it, he was so scared, it was pretty sad:(  We went to the Zoo, and have played at every park in Idaho Falls.  Logan's personal favorite park is the "big one by the river."  We are still going to try and go to the drive in this week and Blacktail Reservoir.

 

 I have been busy with pictures and work and Brett has be busy with work and getting 

ready to start school and another internship.  

A few weeks ago I cut all my hair off to donate to Locks of Love, \

 it is sure different but I am loving it.  

Brett has a new internship this coming semester with the E-center in Rexburg.  He will still work where he currently does, Elevate, and go to school full time....crazy kid.  Hopefully we will all survive and make it to our goal of Graduation in December.

 The kids have had fun at our new place, they love the little neighbor kids (who are sadly moving this week!)  They aren't moving too far so we will visit often.  

Kenzi is talking up a storm, the kid will say anything, its pretty funny.  She said "football" which made Brett pretty proud.  Kenzi still loves dressing up and wearing tons of different shoes and necklaces.   Logan also keeps us laughing at all the funny stuff he says.  Today he said "well well well what do we have here" obviously something from a movie:)  Then when we were leaving church he started saying really loudly in the hall "clean up, clean up, every body do your share" it was pretty funny.  Sometimes he says "come here you little runt" also from a movie or something? Ha!

The only good thing about summer ending is that the best 4 months of the year begin!  I love the Fall and then the Holidays!

Rexburg Rapids and Trip to Utah!

Last Tuesday the kids and I went to Rexburg Rapids with my nephews Brenden and Mason.

The kids had a ball!  I rented Logan a life jacket and he was in heaven:)

On a whim we decided to head to Utah.  Shannon and Kory had a little problem in their upstairs bathroom and had to redo a bunch of stuff.  They asked if Brett would come down and help Kory tile the bathroom and while they were at it tile the kitchen counter tops.  

We headed out Thursday morning and made a stop at the Gateway.  I absolutely love that mall, Build a Bear was also having a sale so Kenzi made the cutest little doggie with sparkly silver shoes she picked out.  She loves that little dog that she named "Water" :)

We headed to the Johnson's Thursday night and we couldn't get there fast enough for Logan, he loves their house.  Kenz had a ball too.  We had YUMMY sushi Thursday night then Friday Brett and Kory tiled their guts out while Shan, the kids and I shopped and played around.  We also HAD to make a trip to IKEA to return something too, darn;)

Saturday we made Kory and Brett take a break and go the the local water park, Desert Peaks with us.  It was so much fun! The kids LOVED it!  Logan even started going under water!  He was so proud:)

He also could go on "the BIG" slide with us, he was feeling pretty good.

This pic is hilarious. I just happen to get them coming out of the slide, but it totally looks like they are just sitting on the end of the slide. HA!

I don't have any pictures of Tysen cause the kid is a little fish and is all over the pool!

We had a fun weekend and the Johnson's sure spoiled us.  The kids did so so good on the drive and sleeping while we were there, it was great.  Thanks Shan, Kory, Kirra and Tysen!

End of Swimming Lessons

We have been having fun playing outside and enjoying the WARM weather.  Last Monday the kids and I made cupcakes and delivered them to the peeps at my work and our neighbors.  The kids loved delivering them, but mostly loved eating them:)

Logan finished up his Swimming Lessons.  He came so far, I was so proud of him.  It took him a few days to get comfortable, but as soon as he did he was a little dare devil.  His poor teachers could keep him on the little step he just had to be moving.  Great job little buddy, so proud of you.  Next year will be awesome!

Last time..so excited!

 

All the kids wait in line until the class before them clears the pool.  Then one of the lifeguards lets everyone in and says find you teachers.  Well Logan was just too excited and ran in while the other kids were getting out.  So...he was just hanging out with his teachers by himself for a second.  Ha! Silly kid.
