Thanksgiving weekend!

 We have had a great Thanksgiving weekend.  Thanksgiving day was wonderful!  Logan had stayed the night with his favorites, Kirra and Tysen, at my parents house.  My sister Tiff and her boys were also there, they had surprised us, we didn't know they were going to make the trip back from Seattle:)  

Needless to say he was in a bad mood on Thanksgiving because of lack of sleep, but it was still a good day:) 

That evening Shan, Tiff and I headed to Walmart and Target.  Shannon and Tiffany didn't really have anything to get so they helped me get everything on my list!  It was awesome! 

Friday morning we went to see the new movie Frozen.  We were able to see it in 3D which was so fun and the movie was great!  It had so much music in it, we all loved it!

After the movie we headed to Shelley to go to the annual lighting of the lights in the city, by my daddy one last time and to talk with Santa.  Logan went right up and asked for some crazy toy that is no longer in stores!  We will see how Santa does:)  Kenzi was shy as usually, but smiled and talked a little with Santa, while staying in my arms:)  

Saturday was devoted to finding and decorating a tree.  We headed to Palisades and after climbing up the mountain for 2 hours we found the perfect tree.  Kenz took a little nap on dad and Logan had a ball sliding down the mountain on our way to the car.  We came home and decorated it while watching Christmas Vacation and cooking our turkey:) 

Thanksgiving round two for Sunday Dinner tomorrow:) 

Great, great weekend, love the holidays and family time!  Christmas is just around the corner!!

 

Random phone pics.  Kenzi is so in love with Home Alone 1 &2.  She broke the second movie, literally..so we found it for $5 at Walmart, she was pretty happy.

The kids had check ups at the dentist.  Kenzi loved it, it was seriously hilarious.  She sat still and did all that was asked of her.  Logan was a little nervous and took a little coaxing.  They both did great and had no cavities! 

 

 

Kenzi loves her babies, Logan thinks it's pretty funny.  These are all my old dolls, she loves them all!

Kenz also decided to Potty Train herself.  She has done awesome, only a few accidents in over a week.  It was funny, we didn't even plan it, she was just ready:)  She is pretty proud:)

The kids are excited for two things right now.....Christmas and their new baby brother!  

Excited for the new baby by playing 'baby,' Logan being the baby, and excited for Christmas by wearing their Christmas jammies ......all the time:) 

Logan's first Primary Program

 Sunday November 10th was Logan's first Primary Program.  He did so good and walked right up to the microphone to say his part "Heavenly Father knows me cause I say my prayers."

Grandma and Grandpa Hanson came too:)

It made me a little teary.  He is getting so big.  

 

 

Halloween

We had kind of a crappy Halloween this year:(   The night before Halloween we went to Boo at the Zoo with our neighbors the Wheelwrights.  It was cold, but a lot of fun, the kids loved it:) 

When we got home Logan kept saying his stomach hurt.  I didn't think much of it because he had eaten so much candy that day, so we sent him to bed.  Of course in the middle of the night he woke up super sick and so did I.   The next day was Halloween and Logan's fun Halloween Preschool party that he wasn't able to go to:(   Brett stayed home from work and took care of things, thank heavens cause I felt awful.  Logan snapped out of it fast and was asking to go trick-or-treating.  We headed to Shelley to see the Grandparents and trick-or-treat at a few houses.  The kids got some candy and had a lot of fun trick-or-treating on their bikes from Grandma Christensen's. 

The worst thing about the stomach flu is that it pretty much has to go through the whole family, and that it did.  Poor Kenz got sick just a few days later, then it was Brett's turn.  Poor guy still went to work:(

Notice the costume change for Halloween night.  Logan was Mr. Incredible, not to be confused with his Dash costume from last year, and Kenzi decided to try out being Mike Wazoweki:)
