Cars

It is bad enough that the whole Toy Story gang has to get together if we are watching Toy Story, now all of Logan's cars have to get together to watch Cars!  He is a funny kid, mild OCD, but funny:)  He has started to have the best imagination and plays so well with his toys.  He always makes things talk to one another and carry on conversations, it's pretty funny to witness.

Things have been going pretty good around here.  I didn't have to work this week which was a good thing, Brett has been super busy with school and he GOT A JOB!  A good one with school too.  He works for ISU as a Student Consultant.  He and an Engineering student will work together on some crazy project with the Dean of the Business Program.  Best part is he can do most of it from home.  Great job Brett, way to go!

Kirra's Baptism

This past weekend we headed to Tooele, Utah for Kirra's baptism.  We headed down Friday morning and stopped at a few places.  Logan had a $3 gift card from Toys R Us he got for his birthday he was dying to use:)  My parents also came and we had a great time just hanging out, shopping and eating lots of yummy food:)  

Kirra's baptism was Saturday morning, she had asked me to give a little talk on baptism.  Well, Logan was having a rough time when we got to the Church.  When the baptism was about to start Logan got very curious as to what was just past the door that was open....the door leading to the font.  When he realized there was water back there he wanted to get in!  Meanwhile Kenzi had fallen asleep on Brett's shoulder so Brett's hands were full, leaving me with a wild little boy ready to jump in the water!  I stood up to give my little talk and no amount of fruit snacks was going to keep Logan from running to the water.  Mid talk I am chasing Logan from the font and holding him while he is SCREAMING he wants to get in the WATER...a little embarrassing to say the least, but I managed to get a few things out and sit down!  Also, during all of this Shannon's hilarious bishop yells out "It's okay Candice, we've all been there" Ha!
  After the baptism Shannon had a great little brunch for everyone.

After everyone left Shannon got Logan all geared up to play in the snow in some of Tysen's old snow gear.  He had a ball!  Loved every minute of it!

 That afternoon (while Logan was playing in the snow) Kevin and Tiffany came to Tooele so we could do a little session of Maternity pics.  It went really well and it was good to see them.

Sunday we headed to Sacrament meeting then home for a little lunch and off we went.  Thanks Shan for such a fun weekend and great job Kirra for making the wonderful decision to be Baptized.

Also, today I realized my Baby Girl is 10 months.  I can't believe how fast she is growing up.  She is almost walking and is starting to wave bye bye if she doesn't get too shy. She is so wild and is really going to give us a run for our money when she is walking.  We just love our little girl.

The pic below is how Logan has to watch Toy Story - he calls Toy Story 3 - "Tee Pee Pee Pee" Ha!  He can say Toy Story, but I guess it is just easier to say tee pee pee pee??  The whole gang has to be together, even if it means multiple trips from his room to the front room
Also, he has noticed he doesn't have Jessie and asks to go get her at the store or from Santa...crazy kid.

Logan took a little breather from Toy Story the last several months and replaced it with his trains, well recently trains are still cool, but Toy Story is once again the coolest!

 

Looks like Kenzi will share the Love of Toy Story with her bro.

Kenzi once again got a nasty bruise on her forehead, I think I had forgot about this stage of crazy baby, bumping and falling into things.

I didn't see these pictures Brett had taken until I was doing this post, so I had to add them, they are sad because of her owie, but she is just hilarious in them

Dinner Time

 We try and do dinner a little early so Brett can eat with us before he goes to class.  Sometime, like today it is a little rushed.  We had just got back from Idaho Falls, (had a great trip to The Children's Place and got Kenzi some much needed bigger clothes) I started making dinner, Kenzi was starving so I started to feed her, meanwhile Brett was trying to convince Logan to go number two on the toilet (yep, still struggling with that:()  In the midst of all the chaos Kenzi's baby food was left a little to close to her.  I turned around for one minute and this is what I found...

 I told Brett we need to film how crazy this little girl is when she is eating in her highchair.  She is just wild, she squirms, wiggles, lifts her bum up and down and  grabs everything...then drops it to the ground. Funny girl.

While we were cleaning up Kenzi and her mess, Logan was getting his pals Woody and Buzz a spot at the table for some dinner.

 More bath pics, but I couldn't resist.  The kids are too funny when they take a bath together.  I just love that Kenzi thinks Logan is the coolest person on the planet, she adores him.  Logan thinks Kenzi is pretty cool too, but he still gets a little jealous when she is getting too much attention:)

 Kenzi crawled right into the bathroom door frame tonight right before her bath:(  Poor little girl was so upset until she got in her favorite place.. the bath.

Woowee!

I can't believe we are already into February.  I am secretly hoping this year kind of goes by fast and it already is!  We have been super busy, but it has been great!  Brett is doing great in school so far and it really hasn't been too difficult..yet:)   The kids and I are just loving having him around so much.  Work for me is going good, it was like I never left a year and a half ago.  I just started right back up and to my surprise nothing had changed!  I really enjoy working and it is nice to get out and interact with adults, but my thoughts are always with my babies.  I miss them when I am gone, but I am so glad it really isn't that long.  

Logan is hilarious he has started to have a great imagination.  He plays really well with Kenzi and only gets frustrated sometimes and yells out "NO! Tenzi!"  He is also jabbering more and more everyday which makes me so happy.  

Kenzi turned 9 months yesterday and is as cute as ever.  She to is a character and Brett and I just enjoy watching her funny mannerisms and personality.  She loves to get into things and keeps us very busy.  She is still a very happy baby and loves her momma, but has recently become quite a daddy's girl.  

There still is no snow outside and we have had nice temperatures, which is wonderful, but I don't buy it.  I know we will wake up to freezing cold temperatures and 7 feet of snow one of these days, I am just waiting!  Or maybe we got lucky this year and we will have an early spring and a LONG summer....but probably not:(  

Well I haven't taken out my camera for the kids in a few weeks, but this morning Super Why was on and Kenzi was going nuts, like she does when it comes on, so I tried to capture her craziness.  The pics don't do it justice.  She is flapping her arm up and do and squealing like a crazy baby trying to get to Wyatt on Super Why, too funny:)
