Logan finishes Swimming Lessons!

Logan had fun in Swimming Lessons this year!  It was just one on one with his teacher:)  On the last day they have them all try to jump off the diving board.  Logan was excited to do it, but as soon as he climbed up to the diving board he got a little scared, luckily there was a lifeguard there to help him in:)  Until next year!

Kenz was mad she didn't get a sucker too:(

August fun!

Brett is a rockstar at work so he was rewarded with some good tickets to a Chukars game.
We had so much fun:)  The kids had LOTS of sugar that night.

In between the luncheon and reception for Danielle's wedding we went to my parents to say hi.  This is were Brett found Logan and Kenzi:)

Logan got a new bike.  He loves it!

Our ward did this cute little CTR boat camp.  Logan loved it, talked about it all day.

Kenzi pulls A LOT of funny face

We started doing her hair in pigtails...its finally long enough and I love it!  So does she!!

We had to say goodbye to my big sis Tiffany and her boys.  They took off on a new adventure to Seattle:(

Logan started swimming lessons.  He has been so excited for this all summer.

Kenzi.......not so much.  She was not happy she wasn't getting in.  After all she did have her swim diaper ready to go.

Today we went to Gem Lake to play in the water because it has been SO SO HOT lately.
The kids had a ton of fun:)

Kenzi has been trying not to take naps the last few days.....by dinner time she is so tired.  Tired enough to fall asleep on the kitchen island while I was starting dinner.

And last our garden has done pretty well considering I didn't even plant it until the middle of June. All the watering we have been doing to get our grass growing sure helped my plants.   We planted a few gardens when we lived in Shelley.  I don't know if we didn't water it enough or it was poor soil, but it was hard to get stuff to grow there.
It's been pretty good here so far.  The kids have loved checking on it everyday.  I didn't even think they would be interested, but when we started to pull some veggies they were all over it.  They both keep a close eye on their pumpkins:)  Logan insists there are carrots in there somewhere, sorry bud maybe next year:)
I have already warned Brett.  Next years garden is going to have a lot more stuff and be bigger than this years.   I didn't think we would all enjoy it so much but I am loving it and can't wait to plan a huge one next year!

Danielle and Ryan's Wedding

Danielle and Ryan were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on Friday August 2nd.  It was such a great day.  Danielle looked so beautiful and Ryan is just wonderful and will be a great addition to the family!
Congrats you two!

The weekend also meant of lot of time with the Hanson cousins, which is not very often so my kids were in heaven.  All of the Hanson grandkids were together, first time in over two years.  Almost the entire Hanson family was there too, everyone except Kevin:(   It was good to see everyone.
It really was a good weekend for lots of family time:)

Saturday morning we got together at the Iona park and let the kids play for a few hours before everyone headed home.  We all had such a great time.  My kids are still talking about it.
Until next time!
