Brett's 28th

Brett was busy on his birthday but we still had fun! The night before his birthday his parent took us to dinner at Pachangas, our favorite little Mexican restaurant downtown.  It is so yummy and we had a great time, even though the kids were a little wild.
On his birthday the kids and I made him a little breakfast and took him to work, before getting there we stopped at the store and got donuts for all of Brett's coworkers for his birthday treat...:)

I dropped Brett off  and went straight to drop Logan off at Preschool.  Then Kenz and I came home and made dad a Football cake.  Then we went and picked Logan up and then Brett.  Brett had some other stuff to do that afternoon while Kenzi napped.  Then we made a yummy dinner and had cake and ice cream.  After we got all bundled up and headed to Masen's footfall game just up the road at Rocky Mountain Middle School.  We didn't last long.  Kenzi was not a fan of all the layers.  As you can tell from the pics below she likes the least amount of clothes as possible.  It was a fun day, Happy Birthday Brett!  We sure love ya!

Quick update for the blog

Life is just flying by.  I cannot believe we are entering the best time of the year...THE HOLIDAYS!  Halloween is just around the corner and then the really fun begins!  Oh how I love the Spirit of the Holiday Season!

Updates on the fam..

Brett:  Just turned the big 28!  and is busy, busy, busy, trying to finish is MBA.  Just 6 weeks of classes left, not counting the week of Thanksgiving.  Brett has worked so hard doing a full load of night classes, working for Elevate and doing an internship with the E-Center in Rexburg.   Because of all that craziness his time was stretched a little too much.  So, he told Elevate he would see them in December and took the month of November off to focus on school and everything else.  Brett is doing great in all of his classes and is set to be done done done on December 19th! Also, Brett has a job interview with General Mills in Scottsdale, Arizona.  They are going to fly him out there next week for two days of job shadowing, eating and interviews.  We will know very soon if that is were we are going to end up....ahh!

Cherice:  Just finished the busiest two months of doing pictures!  It was so awesome and so fun!  I was also able to finally get my website going (www.chericehanson.com ).  I am also working at the doctors office and I love it there, but can't wait to just focus on the kids, home and photography.

Logan:   Logan LOVES school.  He loves Ms. Michelle and looks forward to school every week.  Logan is back into trains and can play for hours with his trains, as long as Kenzi doesn't mess them up.  He is starting to really get into his Christmas movies too!  Logan is growing up so fast is talking so well.  He is learning so much is school and now knows his colors very well, can count to 10, say his ABC's, sing tons of different songs, know the days of the week, can kind of write his name and many other things.  He is still my little Holiday Critter and can't wait to go cut down a Christmas tree in a few weeks.

Kenzi: Is still so so funny.  She has hilarious faces and mannerisms.  We love her little personality.  She sure love to torment little Logan though, so she is our little spitfire! Kenzi talks a ton and is starting to put words together.  She gets so excited when you say Santa and the other day I let her pick out her new pj's at Target and she picked ones with Santa on them.  HA!  She still takes a good nap in the early afternoon and loves her bottle.  Kenzi will be in nursery soon and it makes me so sad.  She is just getting too big too fast.

Fall Fun

We had a fun day.  First thing this morning we headed to the Shilo Inn for a 5K I did with some girls from my work.  After the 5K they had a little raffle and I won this cute little Ipod:)  Woot!

Then we watched the BYU game......:(

After the game we went to the U-pick Pumpkin Patch.  My kids loved it, almost as much as me:)
We picked some pumpkins, watched the chickens, road the train and went through the little straw maze.  The kids were in heaven and loved all of it.  It was a little cold and windy, but we still had a great time.

Picking out pumpkins instantly turned into a strong man competition for Logan.

Logan was so protective of Kenzi around the Chickens.  He was so scared they would hurt her.
