We headed to Utah Friday afternoon. Dropped the kids off with Shannon and headed to the BYU game. It took 2 HOURS to get from Tooele to Provo! AHH ! The traffic was terrible. We finally made it to the game, just in time, it didn't start until 8 pm. Which meant Shannon would have to bath and put my kids to bed, meaning it would be the first time I didn't put them to bed. Weird! Anyway, it wasn't that cold and it was a great Game. We had a ton of fun and had to get a super long maple donut called a 'Cougar Tail,' it was so good:) The Cougs eeked out a win - 6 to 3. Traffic was bad again and we didn't get back to Shannon's until 2 am.
The kids did great though! Shannon took them to the Homecoming parade and to the Football Game to watch the Fireworks and had a PaRtY at her house. They had a great time!
Love going to BYU games with my favorite:) Can't wait until next time.
