Memorial Day Weekend

 We had a great Memorial Day weekend.  Saturday morning bright and early we headed to Shelley to Grandma and Grandpa Hanson's house.  Brett, his dad, Chandler and Kevin were going to put a new roof on their house.  It took all day with a few breaks for drinks, pizza and bratwursts;)  The kids and I went and visited my parents, then we came back and played outside while the boys worked.  Peyton loved the kids t-ball set and bikes. Tiffany brought a little swing for Peyton and Kenzi fell in love..it was hard to get her out of it!

 

 

 

 

 Sunday after Church we headed to Shelley for a yummy steak dinner and smores over a bonfire!  It was a lot of fun until suddenly it started blowing really hard and we had to run inside.  The kids, well Logan was insisting we stay the night at Grandma and Grandpa's so we stayed up late eating and talking.  The kids finally crashed watching Finding Nemo.  

 

 

  

Early Monday morning we headed home.  Brett had big plans for yard work that day and was thrilled to have some help.  He rented some crazy machine to make all the trenched for the sprinkler system.  It was a lot of work and we were so thankful Barry, Chandler and Kevin were there to help.  

We really appreciate it.  Brett would get tired and Chandler would jump right in pulling that huge heavy machine.  Everyone worked so hard and we were able to get it done and get the machine back around 4pm.  

Then we headed to a BBQ with our new friends in the Ward.  The BBQ was at the Judd's house.  It was so fun.  The kids loved their swing-set and all the kids.   It was so fun to just talk and laugh with new friends! 

It was a busy fun weekend, I am pretty sure Brett was excited to get back to work so he could relax;)

 Yay for summer!!  I just hope it doesn't go by fast!! 

Logan's last day of Preschool

Logan's first field trip!

 Logan had his first field trip today.  His little preschool class was headed to the Zoo!  He was so excited to finally use his little lunch box:)  I was under strict orders to get him a lunch packed and put sunscreen on him:)

 Lately Logan has loved drawing.  I love his little people that he draws, the legs just come right off the head:)

Brett finally has a garage for all of his toys..tools.  :)  He put these cabinets in and LOVES having a place for everything.

My sister Tiffany gave the kids some puzzles her kids use to play with.  I never thought the kids would use them, but they love doing puzzles!

Kenz got this cute outfit from my sister Tiffany.  She lasted like 2 seconds in it.  The kids loves to have her hair in her eyes and to be in just her diaper;)

Mornings with Kenzington

 

Kenzi has been getting up super early lately.  So we just hang out and chat.  Today an Orange Julius commercial came on and Kenzi said, "Oh, I love those. I want to eat it....brrr its cold.  I love our small talk in the mornings.  Then we got bored and tried her hair in her first ponytail:)  (it lasted about 2 minutes, the kid loves just having her hair down in her eyes:)

 I can't believe my little girl is 2! Time just goes too fast.  Kenzi is hilarious, spunky and so driven!

Kenzi talks so much and is so smart.  She loves her babies, her bottle:/, books and strawberries.  She loves to cuddle and say 'baby Kenny' which means you lay her in your arms like a baby:)  Kenz loves to be outside keeping up with her brother and loves her mommy:)  

We love you sweet Kenzi, keep growing into a strong little girl!!

We had a little get together with family last night for Kenz' birthday.  She was a little overwhelmed and crabby, but had so much fun.  My sister Tiff got her some cute clothes including a swimsuit that needed to be worn right away:)
