Summer, Summer, Summer!

We have had such a fun summer.  I just wanted to write down what we have been up too, even though I don't have too many cute pics to go along:)
The kids are outside all day!  I love having a house again and a yard....yes a yard and grass!!! It is coming in so good and Brett has even mowed it once:)  We love setting up our little pool in the back yard and putting the slide in it.  The kids love playing out there, especially since it has been so hot.
I have been so lazy and sick with this pregnancy.  I feel bad for the kids and a somewhat lame summer, but we will make it up this fall and next summer!!

We did go to the drive in the other night and the kids loved it!!  It was so perfect in our car.  We fit a full size air mattress in the back. So we all snuggled in with Winco candy and watched Monster University ...again.  It was great.

Brett's parents watched the kids and we went golfing.  We had so much fun in the nice weather and driving the cart!

The other night we camped in our backyard, the kids were in heaven.  We did a little fire and smores and then all slept in the tent.  The kids had the hardest time going to sleep because they were so excited!  When they finally fell asleep it was late and then they were up with the sun, too too early.  So their attitudes the next day were not too good:/

Logan is getting ready for another year of Preschool and is really excited.  Kenz is going to have a hard time with him going and not her:(  I can't believe we are almost in August and summer is coming to close.  I can't wait for my favorite time of year - the fall and then January for a new baby!!

:)

We are all looking forward to January and Baby #3's debut!
I have been feeling pretty good, just tired and nauseous, but things are getting better now that trimester #1 is almost out of the way!

The kids and Brett were able to hear the heart beat when I went to the doc the other day.  That was when we told the kids we were going to have a baby.  I asked Logan if it was a boy or a girl and right away he said it was a boy and his name was Wreck it Ralph.. hehe:)
Kenzi just kept saying over and over..."I help, I help with the baby, I help....
I am in for it with her, this little baby is going to have one involved big sis!  Yay for January!

4th of July and Yellowstone!

We had a great, HOT 4th of July!  The night before the 4th we went to Despicable Me 2 and then went and got fireworks.  Logan didn't really like the movie and Kenzi for some reason was very snacky:)   She wanted candy so Brett went and got some way over priced gummy bears.  After those were done, she was ready for popcorn.  Needless to say Kenz didn't watch much of the movie and Logan kept saying "Despicable Me 2 is dumb!"   The kids had a ton of fun with the fireworks though!

We went to the parade, then had a little lunch before heading to Grandma and Grandpa Hanson's for a BBQ and other fun stuff.  We stayed there most of the day and then headed home to watch the Idaho Falls Fireworks from our back porch.  They were delayed an hour and didn't start until 11pm, but Logan waited up with us to watch them from our back windows.  It was pretty neat:)

Brett with his EIRMC float:)

Kenz got super hot during the parade.

The crew minus Dustin and Luke:)

Friday bright and early we headed to Yellowstone.  Just after getting into the park we came to a traffic jam due to some animal off the side of the road.  It was creating a huge mess so Chandler jumped out to see what it was, when he said it was a bear, I jumped out too!  As I was walking toward everyone I noticed two little bear cubs playing and sliding down the trees (can barely see them in the pic below)  Then all of a sudden there she was there mom.  A momma Grizzly right off the side of the road with a crazy amount of people right by her.  Needless to say the Park Rangers came pretty soon and cleared everyone out because of the traffic mess and the danger zone we were all in of a momma bear and her babies! I still got a few cool pictures though:)

Old Faithful!!

Kenz and Logan entertained us while waiting for Old Faithful to start:)

Had a little picnic lunch and was on to the next place!

Yellowstone Lake is beautiful!

All of us at the beautiful Canyon!

We then headed to Jackson.  We saw a few more animals and drove through Grand Teton National Park which was beautiful!  We made it home around 10 pm ready to be out of the car!  It was a good day:)

June recap

I guess I am just blogging once a month now.  Things have been crazy around here.  Time is just flying by.  Summer better slow down!

The kids play outside a lot which means they come in super dirty and ready for a bath almost every night!
They are just silly.

Our grass is coming in great though, which cuts down on the dirt on the kids and in our house:)

Seems like the kids are taking turns as to who comes into our bed early in the morning.  But eventually they are both in there snuggling with us or each other:)

The entire month of June was Tball season!  We were at the Iona Park twice a week for games:)
Logan loved playing tball and loved the treats after each game:)
Kenz was my assistant coach.

The kids got a swimming pool which was perfect because it has been super hot recently.  They love playing in it together!

The kids and I also made a trip to Rigby Lake with our friends Traci, Madison and Lincoln.  It was super warm and a lot of fun:)

Had to have a hotdog and pop before heading home:)

We went to a Chukars baseball game with Danielle and Ryan the other night.  It was so fun, but starting raining so we had to leave early:(

Logan has been riding his bike nonstop since learning to ride without his training wheels.

We also made a trip to SLC for Kesslie's Blessing on June 23rd.  We were also able to say goodbye to Kevin, Tiffany and Peyton before they head to Texas.  I was also able to go to Danielle's Bridal Shower given by Devrey and Amy.

It was a fun busy weekend!

In the midst of all this we also celebrated Father's Day!  We sure love Brett!
