Brett had a conference in Coeur d'Alene so the kids and I joined in on the fun! We headed to Northern Idaho Saturday morning the 5th. The kids did awesome. We got to the hotel and ordered pizza and went swimming. The kids were in heaven being in a hotel:) Sunday morning the kids and I just hung around the hotel while Brett went to his meetings. The kids didn't want to leave, they loved being there, crazy kids. Sunday night we went to Red Lobster with Brett's boss and had a great time. When we got back the kids wanted to swim again.
Monday morning Brett had a few more meetings so the kids and I went to a few stores in Spokane Valley and then to a really cool park down by the lake. The kids LOVED the lake. It was super windy and cold, but fun:)
Monday afternoon we headed to Spokane with Brett's boss Grant. He took us to a cool park we walked around for a little while, then we ate dinner in a train. Logan thought it was so so cool.
Monday night we had to swim again.
Tuesday morning we got ready and headed home. The kids did so good again. In fact Logan never got out of his seat...the entire 7 1/2 hour drive. He just didn't want too. We made it home in the afternoon on Tuesday. The kids were glad to be home, but kept asking to go back to the Hotel:) It was such a fun little trip. We had never been up North and it is so so pretty!
Below is a cool old bridge, I think it's Monroe Street. The kids loved throwing rocks into the water.
Home in jammies watching Home Alone a new favorite of the kids.
