Kenz + Holden

Holden is Kenzi's boyfriend.  She LOVES him and always tries to get him when she sees him at Church.  Holden is just two days older than Kenzi:)

We watched him for a few hours the other day.  Holden is just the sweetest little guy and didn't even make a peep.

Cupcakes?  That's what Logan thought.  

But it didn't taste like frosting?

New Nephews and New Ride!

 Yesterday my brother Mikel and his wife Christy welcomed their 5th baby to their family.

They named him Preston Lowell.  My sister-in-law had him all natural! Superwomen!

Also, a cool thing is Brett and I get FOUR new nephews this year!  Little Luke Dustin Hanson was born in January and has such a sweet little face.  I can't wait to meet him this coming weekend at his Blessing!

The next two nephews will make their debuts in May and then in June:)

Logan and Kenz play pretty well together.  Logan teaches Kenz the good stuff, like putting rocks through the fence.

Logan got his Easter present early...A NEW BIKE!  He loves being outside and riding!

Because he has his new bike Kenz gets all the other stuff!

Logan and Kenzi love APPLES! Good thing too because we are going to have a ton on our little apple tree this year:)

And he is off!

Still getting use to the helmet, but I think he looks adorable in it!

Kenzi:

Just got her third tooth - front left.  She loves to play outside, wave bye and hi and eat:)

She also says momma and dada a lot, and is walking everywhere!

 Logan said goodbye to his good buddy Crue Searle yesterday.  He is moving "far far away to Ona" according to Crue:)

Good Luck in Arizona Crue, Brekke and AJ!  We will miss you guys:)

BIG DAY!

Today was a big day for our family!

• Brett and I spoke in Church....hopefully we won't have to again for another 4 1/2 years:)
• Logan pooped in the potty all by himself.  He disappeared at my moms house and I called out for him and he said "I'n pooping."  Brett and I assumed in his underwear, but to our surprise he was just sitting on the potty.  He had gone in there and did it all by himself!  Yay!  Maybe things are FINALLY clicking!
• And last but not least Kenzi sported her first pigtails:)  So cute:)

 

Cars

It is bad enough that the whole Toy Story gang has to get together if we are watching Toy Story, now all of Logan's cars have to get together to watch Cars!  He is a funny kid, mild OCD, but funny:)  He has started to have the best imagination and plays so well with his toys.  He always makes things talk to one another and carry on conversations, it's pretty funny to witness.

Things have been going pretty good around here.  I didn't have to work this week which was a good thing, Brett has been super busy with school and he GOT A JOB!  A good one with school too.  He works for ISU as a Student Consultant.  He and an Engineering student will work together on some crazy project with the Dean of the Business Program.  Best part is he can do most of it from home.  Great job Brett, way to go!

Kirra's Baptism

This past weekend we headed to Tooele, Utah for Kirra's baptism.  We headed down Friday morning and stopped at a few places.  Logan had a $3 gift card from Toys R Us he got for his birthday he was dying to use:)  My parents also came and we had a great time just hanging out, shopping and eating lots of yummy food:)  

Kirra's baptism was Saturday morning, she had asked me to give a little talk on baptism.  Well, Logan was having a rough time when we got to the Church.  When the baptism was about to start Logan got very curious as to what was just past the door that was open....the door leading to the font.  When he realized there was water back there he wanted to get in!  Meanwhile Kenzi had fallen asleep on Brett's shoulder so Brett's hands were full, leaving me with a wild little boy ready to jump in the water!  I stood up to give my little talk and no amount of fruit snacks was going to keep Logan from running to the water.  Mid talk I am chasing Logan from the font and holding him while he is SCREAMING he wants to get in the WATER...a little embarrassing to say the least, but I managed to get a few things out and sit down!  Also, during all of this Shannon's hilarious bishop yells out "It's okay Candice, we've all been there" Ha!
  After the baptism Shannon had a great little brunch for everyone.

After everyone left Shannon got Logan all geared up to play in the snow in some of Tysen's old snow gear.  He had a ball!  Loved every minute of it!

 That afternoon (while Logan was playing in the snow) Kevin and Tiffany came to Tooele so we could do a little session of Maternity pics.  It went really well and it was good to see them.

Sunday we headed to Sacrament meeting then home for a little lunch and off we went.  Thanks Shan for such a fun weekend and great job Kirra for making the wonderful decision to be Baptized.

Also, today I realized my Baby Girl is 10 months.  I can't believe how fast she is growing up.  She is almost walking and is starting to wave bye bye if she doesn't get too shy. She is so wild and is really going to give us a run for our money when she is walking.  We just love our little girl.
